Easiest Way To Get Fit
What is the easiest way to get fit?
Assuming you have a clean bill of health from your doctor the answer is intervals!
Interval training is what the body responds to the fastest when it comes to get stronger and fitter
Why?
The human body was designed for short burst of energy followed by long periods of walking. So imagine a hunter who sprints down animal to kill it and then carry the carcase back to cave or a safe place.
How do you take advantage of this?
It’s actually very simple do sprints preferable at a park or a field two or three times a week.
After a proper warm up, light jogging or walking followed by stretching:-
Do the following sequence of sprints:-
50m to 100m flat-out sprinting followed by 300m walking or jogging( depending on your fitness level) Do this three times and then have complete rest for 3 minutes.
Do it again
50 to 100m flat-out sprinting followed by 300m walking or jogging( depending on your fitness level) Do this three times and then have complete rest for 3 minutes.
Do it again
50 to 100m flat-out sprinting followed by 300m walking or jogging( depending on your fitness level) Do this three times and then have complete rest for 3 minutes.
Now run or walk an additional 1 or 2 kilometers
Stretch down and re-hydrate
Important notes
- Only do what you can never exceed your fitness level.
- Just because I’ve written to sprint for 50m or 100m doesn’t mean that’s essential if you can only sprint 10 meters, 20 meters, 30 meters, 40 meters the important thing is you do what you can do and take some action.
- You should see results after two weeks. But if you don’t and your suffering from muscle soreness. Drop the sprints down to once a week. To give your body longer to recover but still do consistent jogging or walking.
- Get a friend to do the sprints with you if possible. Competition feeds the soul and you can motivate each other.
- Always stretch and warm up properly.
- Always keep your self well hydrated.
- Have fun
